Is a quote a fixed price?
Yes, a quotation is a fixed price as long as the scope of work doesn’t change. The cost of a quotation would only change if, for example, there was an unforeseen problem with the garage structure or cosmetics which meant we could not carry out the job without replacing or repairing the problem.
Can I cancel my order if the delivery doesn’t arrive on time?
Manufacturing and deliveries are something which is out of our control. All orders are placed in good faith that they will arrive on time. From time to time deliveries will arrive later than planned for various reasons; if this happens, we will reschedule your job to a more convenient date that suits you.
Will you take away all the rubbish/waste?
Yes, at Garage Solutions we offer a complete service, including removing all waste legally and ethically. We will always make sure your home is left tidy.
How do I pay?
You can pay for your job with cash, debit card, credit card or bank transfer. Unfortunately, we do not accept cheques.
When do I pay?
All payments must be made on the day of installation, with the exception of conversions, new builds and concrete sectional garages. All garage conversions and new builds where building control is required will have payment plans consisting of 40% payable on the first day, 40% pre-plaster or roof installation, and the remaining 20% payable on completion.
All concrete sectional garages must be paid for in full 1 week before the installation date which is a requirement of the manufacturers. Installation will not take place until the garage is paid for in full.
Does it cost anything to change the colour?
Unfortunately, yes, in most cases it does. The only item we can supply for the same price in different colours is our galvanised steel roofing sheets.
Do I need to be at home during the installation?
No, as long as we have access, power and space to work we will get the job done, lock up and post your key through on completion if you are not home.
Do you need electric to complete the work?
Yes, we will need power, but if you do not have electric in the garage we can plug a lead in through a house window.
What time will you arrive?
The average time of arrival is 9am but varies depending on travel time and collections/deliveries.
